Job description

Grow your career as a UX Researcher with an innovative global bank. Contract role with a strong possibility of extension. Will require working a hybrid schedule, 2-3 days onsite per week.

You will be key to developing the company’s digital products, working alongside Product, Engineering, and UX Design teams. Apply your skills and experience in research methods, testing, metrics, and insights to ensure product and design decisions are research-driven. Contract Duration: 10+ Months

Required Skills & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree or higher
• 7 to 10 years of UX Research experience
• Hands-on experience leading qualitative and quantitative UX research in a product design environment across Design Thinking stages
• Experience leading generative and evaluative user research
• Ability to lead workshops in-person and remotely
• Strategic thinking combined with pragmatism without sacrificing quality
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Experience working with senior stakeholders and engineers
• Familiarity with research tools such as UserZoom, Dovetail, EnjoyHQ, Qualtrics

Desired Skills & Experience

• Experience in e-commerce, internet, or mobile space
• Experience with agile methodologies
• Financial services or commercial banking experience

Key Responsibilities

• Lead various research activities including user interviews, journey mapping, usability testing, and surveys, ensuring actionable insights are shared
• Design and execute research studies following best practices
• Present research findings and recommendations to stakeholders and organization-wide when needed
• Share insights across teams and mentor researchers and designers to scale research capabilities
• Define metrics for benchmarking and measurement of user journeys
• Combine qualitative and quantitative data to understand client journeys and prioritize actions
• Innovate in research approaches, especially with challenging populations
• Collaborate with product teams to create user stories and roadmaps
• Support UX designers and ensure detailed UX designs
• Stay updated with UX practices, tools, and innovations
• Support onboarding of new UX team members
• Participate in the UX community of practice
