Job summary

World Wide Technology (WWT) is seeking an experienced Senior UX Designer to lead design across web and mobile platforms. You will work with product and engineering to craft user-centered experiences grounded in research, usability testing, and a strong craft perspective.

You will design within the Blue Steel system, build interactive prototypes with agentic tools, and mentor teammates to raise the bar on UX quality while ensuring consistency across products.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of professional UX and UI design experience, including senior or lead responsibility on shipped software.
• Excellent design skills: typography, layout, color theory.
• Demonstrated ability to use agentic coding tools to produce working UI prototypes.
• Proven experience designing for both web and mobile.
• Ability to conduct user research and testing, run heuristic evaluations, recognize usability patterns and promote best practices.
• Ability to take an idea from concept to wireframe to final prototype, incorporating feedback throughout.
• Expert-level Figma skills, including component libraries, variants, auto layout, prototyping.
• Proven experience designing within an established design system — and contributing components back to one.
• Working knowledge of how design systems are built, governed and adopted.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design practice across software projects, setting direction for UX/UI activities.
• Mentor designers, run critiques, and raise the bar on craft.
• Develop and evangelize UX best practices and align design with business outcomes.
• Design within WWT’s Blue Steel design system and reuse components before creating new ones.
• Work with engineers to keep design system and code in sync, ensuring consistency.
• Deliver high-quality work, communicate clearly, and handle feedback gracefully.
• Prepare drafts early and maintain proficiency with Figma and Adobe tools.
