World Wide Technology (WWT) is seeking a Solution Architect to identify, shape, and build new business opportunities by aligning client needs with WWT capabilities. The role emphasizes collaboration across sales and delivery teams to structure deals and maximize outcomes for customers and partners.

The candidate will lead design discussions, manage delivery stakeholders, and mitigate risks while traveling up to 25% to support engagements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in system architecture, computer science, information systems, engineering, or related field required. Master’s degree is desired.
• 5 - 7 years of experience in customer engagement, solution design, or technology delivery.
• A minimum of 2 years’ experience in State, Local, and Education (SLED) market with large scale tech services engagements.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience managing and leading people.
• Deep understanding of selling strategy, budgeting cycles, buying habits, contracts and purchasing standards is desired.
• Track record in creating and closing opportunities in infrastructure solution areas (Digital Workspace, Networking, Mobility)
• Expert proficiency in financial modeling, including CAPEX/OPEX calculations for infrastructure proposals.
• Ability to ask the right questions to understand business problems and identify measures.
• Excellent communication and engagement skills; ability to communicate with all levels of management.
• Skilled at multitasking requirements across multiple user groups in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to generate creative solutions to difficult problems; proficient in PowerPoint and Excel for business visualization

• Spearhead strategic design of innovative infrastructure-based solutions across Digital Workspace, Networking, Data Center, and Mobility.
• Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, understanding needs and crafting tailored recommendations.
• Promote cross-business services to enrich client engagements and expand market presence.
• Collaborate with account teams to align sales and support efforts.
• Build and mentor solution development teams.
• Support project scopes, value assessments, and build plans for execution.
• Identify and support solution design for defined client problems.
• Conduct technology assessment and strategy to support future needs.
• Support project planning and execution including resource management.
• Define and quantify value of transformations and measure success.
• Contribute to thought leadership in Solution Services.
