Job summary

Mathys+Potestio, LLC is seeking a Senior Product Designer to shape an AI-powered learning product. You will craft end-to-end experiences, prototype interactions, and establish scalable design patterns while collaborating with leadership, product, and engineering teams.

The role emphasizes ambiguity tolerance, independent momentum, and high-quality design craft across UX, UI, and interaction design. This 12-week, part-time contract can offer flexible remote work with alignment to West Coast hours.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in design or related field or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience designing consumer-facing digital products, learning products, or education tech.
• Experience with AI-powered products and making emerging tech understandable.
• Experience on early-stage, zero-to-one, or evolving product teams.

Responsibilities

• Shape meaningful components of an emerging AI-powered learning experience from concept to design.
• Partner with design leadership, product, engineering, and learning-science collaborators to advance the vision.
• Translate ideas and user needs into clear product explorations and end-to-end journeys.
• Develop user flows, interaction models, prototypes, and polished interfaces.
• Explore multiple approaches, use rapid prototypes to communicate behavior, and simplify complex concepts.
