Amazon Development Center U.S., Inc. is seeking a Senior UX Designer to shape builder experiences across mobile, web, and desktop surfaces. You will drive end-to-end design from discovery to production, enabling users to create polished Apps, automate flows, and customize Agents with AI.

This role involves partnering with product managers, engineers, and scientists to prototype, test, and iterate on new concepts, while championing accessibility and scalable patterns across the platform.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of design experience.
• Experience with hands-on visual design.

Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end experience across all surfaces (mobile, web, desktop), from early discovery and concept exploration through production-ready specs and engineering handoff.
• Address requirements spanning both technical and non-technical customers.
• Contribute reusable patterns and interaction models that span cross-surface and cross-capability. This will ensure consistency and quality across the broader platform experience.
• Partner closely with technical product managers, engineers, and applied scientists to rapidly prototype, test, and iterate on new concepts.
• Present design rationale and strategic recommendations to cross-functional leadership, grounding decisions in customer research and data.
• Conduct and synthesize user research — from evaluative usability studies to generative discovery — to continuously inform and validate design direction.
• Champion accessibility, inclusive design, and progressive disclosure to manage complexity without sacrificing power.
