Job summary

Amazon Development Center U.S., Inc. is seeking a Senior UX Designer in Seattle to shape builder experiences across mobile, web, and desktop. You will own end-to-end design from discovery through production, crafting polished apps, automations, and agents with no-code principles in mind.

You will partner with product managers, engineers, and scientists to prototype, test, and iterate new concepts, ensuring accessible and inclusive design while scaling across surfaces and capabilities.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of design experience.
• Hands-on visual design experience preferred.
• Ability to collaborate with PMs, engineers and scientists.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end UX across mobile, web and desktop surfaces from discovery to specs.
• Address requirements for both technical and non-technical users.
• Contribute reusable patterns and cross-surface interaction models for consistency.
• Partner with product managers, engineers and applied scientists to prototype and iterate.
• Present design rationale and recommendations to leadership based on user research and data.
• Plan and conduct user research, usability studies and discovery activities.
• Champion accessibility, inclusive design and progressive disclosure to manage complexity.
