Job summary

R-2 Contractors is seeking an experienced Utility-Scale Heavy Civil Superintendent to lead field operations on large-scale projects across the United States. The role requires coordinating manpower, equipment, and subcontractors to deliver quality work on schedule while maintaining a strong safety culture.

You will oversee grading, drainage, site development, GPS-enabled equipment usage, and coordination with project managers and customers.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of heavy civil construction experience on utility-scale projects.
• Minimum 5 years of experience leading heavy civil operations as a Superintendent or Senior Superintendent.
• Strong knowledge of mass grading, earthwork, drainage, and site development.

Responsibilities

• Lead field operations for utility-scale heavy civil construction projects.
• Plan manpower, equipment, materials, subcontractors, and production schedules.
• Supervise Foremen, operators, craft personnel, and subcontractors for safe, productive execution.
