Job summary

ACRT Pacific, LLC is seeking a seasoned Supervising Pre-Inspector with forestry, arboriculture, or related education and field experience. The role supervises Utility Pre-Inspectors, directs crews, and liaises with clients while ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.

This safety-sensitive position requires strong communication, data-collection, and leadership skills, with 21+ age and a valid license. Occasional outdoor field duties are included.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• 2-years minimum experience on electric utility projects preferred.
• Become ISA Certified Arborist within one year.
• Ability to identify local trees and knowledge of growth rates.
• High level of communication and organization skills required.
• High level of Customer Service skills required.
• Experience working with data collection devices and GIS software desired.
• Proficient in use of Microsoft Office.
• Self-motivated, organized, production oriented.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work in varied terrain and inclement weather with flexible schedules (nights/weekends as needed).
• Valid Driver License and ability to drive and operate a 4x4 vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Manages work group process with client’s representative.
• Serves as team leader for Utility Pre-Inspectors, coordinating schedules and assigning work.
• Performs emergency response duties in line with safety requirements and regulations.
• Maintains contact with local client operating personnel per client guidance.
• Maintains relationships with public agencies and client’s tree-trimming contractor.
• Resolves customer complaints in a timely and courteous manner.
• Participates in public presentations and meetings as required.
• Performs other duties as directed by the client representative.
