Job summary

ACRT Pacific, LLC. is seeking a Supervising Pre-Inspector for our forestry-related utility inspection services in California. The role oversees Utility Pre-Inspectors, plans field operations, and ensures safety compliance in all duties.

The position emphasizes leadership, field supervision, and coordination with clients and crews, with a safety-sensitive designation and potential for flexible schedules including nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• 2-years minimum experience working on electric utility projects preferred.
• Become ISA Certified Arborist within one year.
• Ability to identify local trees and knowledge of growth rates.
• High level of communication and organization skills required.
• High level of Customer Service skills required.
• Experience with data collection devices and GIS software desired.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work in varied terrain and inclement weather with flexible schedules (nights/weekends as needed).
• Valid Driver License and ability to drive and operate a 4x4 vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Supervises Utility Pre-Inspectors and coordinates schedules.
• Manages field crews and acts as liaison between client and crews.
• Performs emergency response duties per safety regulations.
• Maintains relationships with client personnel and public agencies.
• Ensures compliance with NERC, FERC, and labor laws.
• Trains and coaches junior inspectors and maintains project records.
