Job summary

OpenGov is seeking a Senior Implementation Consultant, Utility Billing to drive value for public sector customers by delivering complete and efficient implementations. You will utilize advanced product knowledge and strong technical skills to set the foundation of customers’ OpenGov platform and maximize the return on their OpenGov investment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of ERP implementation experience.
• Advanced data analysis of large financial datasets.
• Experience training customers on software workflows.
• Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, vlookup, formulas).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end ERP implementation projects for new and expanding customers.
• Serve as primary technical and strategic advisor to customers, ensuring effective communication and deployment.
• Analyze and address customer requirements, collaborating with cross-functional teams to tailor solutions.
• Develop deep expertise in governmental processes across states to meet diverse needs.
• Collaborate with engagement and adoption teams to deliver a consistent customer experience.
• Establish and refine best practices for data environments and customer verticals.
• Gather, document, and communicate feedback to influence product roadmaps.
• Work with R&D and Sales to drive delivery efficiencies and inform product direction.
• Mentor and train team members to foster growth and knowledge sharing.
• Take ownership of strategic initiatives and contribute to achieving targets.
