Job summary

OpenGov is seeking a Senior Implementation Consultant, Utility Billing to lead end-to-end municipal ERP implementations, leveraging deep product knowledge and technical expertise to deliver fast, value-driven deployments.

You will gather requirements, configure platforms, train users, mentor teammates, and collaborate with product and sales to drive adoption and scalable solutions across multiple states.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of ERP implementation consulting experience.
• Strong understanding of data architecture and business process workflows.
• Proficiency in training customers on software solutions.
• Advanced Excel skills: formulas, VLOOKUP, pivot tables, reporting.
• Proven ability to lead and mentor teams.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end implementation projects for new and expanding customers, including data gathering and configuration.
• Serve as technical and strategic advisor to customers, ensuring effective communication and deployment.
• Analyze customer requirements and collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop tailored solutions.
• Develop expertise in governmental processes across multiple states.
• Collaborate with engagement and adoption teams to deliver a consistent customer experience.
• Establish best practices for data environments and customer verticals to enhance efficiency.
• Gather and communicate customer feedback and feature requests for product discussions.
• Work with R&D and Sales to drive delivery efficiencies and inform roadmaps.
• Mentor and train team members, sharing best practices.
• Take ownership of strategic initiatives and contribute to business targets.
