Job summary

NovaSource Power Services is hiring a Utility BESS Technician II to support maintenance and operation of utility-scale PV and battery storage systems in AZ. The role involves SCADA monitoring, troubleshooting, and performing preventative and corrective maintenance on electrical equipment and inverters.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years of related experience, a high school diploma or equivalent, and a willingness to obtain NovaSource Technician Qualification Standards within 90 days.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in related position or Journey level certification.
• Experience operating and maintaining power plant electrical systems, SCADA and controls operation, troubleshooting advanced components.
• High school diploma or equivalent; college/technical degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitor PV plant operation through SCADA; commissioning, testing, inspecting, troubleshooting, repairing, and modifying AC/DC solar PV systems.
• Lead or assist with PM work including measuring, testing, and maintenance on site components.
• Ensure safety procedures (Lockout Tag Out) and company protocols are followed.
• Maintain documentation, reports, and 5S workplace standards.
