Job summary

Sargent & Lundy is seeking a seasoned Project Manager to oversee execution of transmission, substation, and distribution projects in a hybrid work model. You will coordinate across internal and external teams to drive project life cycle from initiation through closeout, ensuring safety, schedule and budget adherence while delivering strong client experience.

The role requires leadership of multi-disciplinary teams, extensive experience in capital projects and strong communication.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of experience in Project Management of Utility, Construction, Engineering, or other relevant experience.
• Proven experience managing multi-disciplinary teams.
• Experience in capital project management.
• Experience with serving as a firm/client liaison in a support or lead role.
• Ability to multitask and manage multiple competing priorities is critical to success.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work in a collaborative team setting.
• A high school diploma or GED.
• Comfortable with approximately 10-25% domestic travel.

Responsibilities

• Manage the execution of multiple transmission, substation and distribution projects.
• Coordinate with internal and external departments to manage the project life cycle.
• Oversee project execution, contract administration, planning and resource management.
• Own all aspects of project performance including safety, schedule, budget and client experience.
• Lead project teams and mentor team members.
• Maintain relationships with client leads and stakeholders.
• Ensure projects are completed safely, on time and within budget.
• Support KPI reporting for schedule, budget and dashboards.
• Identify and control construction risk and change.
• Communicate with stakeholders and prepare concise reports.
