Job summary

Sargent & Lundy is seeking a Senior Project Manager to oversee transmission, substation, and distribution projects in a hybrid work setting. You will coordinate cross-functional teams, manage safety, schedule, and budget, and serve as the client liaison through the full lifecycle of complex capital projects.

Based in Midland, TX, the role emphasizes stakeholder communication, risk management, and delivering projects on time and within budget while maintaining high-quality client experiences.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in Project Management of Utility, Construction, Engineering, or related field.
• Proven experience managing multi-disciplinary teams.
• Experience in capital project management.
• Experience serving as a firm/client liaison in a lead or support role.
• Ability to multitask and manage multiple priorities.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Domestic travel ~10-25%.

Responsibilities

• Manage project execution, contracts, planning and resources.
• Own safety, schedule, budget reporting and client experience across lifecycle.
• Lead all phases of the project life cycle from initiation to close out.
• Direct project team; mentor and coach members.
• Develop relationships with client leads and stakeholders.
• Ensure projects are completed safely, on time and within budget.
• Support KPI reporting for schedule, budget and dashboards.
• Identify and control construction risk and change.
• Communicate with stakeholders and supervisors.
• Prepare concise reports meeting client requirements.
• Analyze issues and provide improvement solutions.
