Sargent & Lundy is seeking a senior project manager to oversee the execution of transmission, substation and distribution projects in a hybrid work setup in the United States. The role coordinates with multiple internal and external teams to manage capital projects through all lifecycle stages, emphasizing safety, schedule and budget compliance.

Ideal candidates bring 12+ years in project management, strong communication skills, and proven experience coordinating cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Essential skills: 12+ years in project management of utilities/construction/engineering.
• Proven experience managing multi-disciplinary teams.
• Capital project management experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to multitask and manage multiple priorities.
• Willingness to travel 10-25%.

Responsibilities

• Oversee project execution, contract administration, planning and resource management.
• Own all aspects of project performance including safety, schedule, budget, and client experience.
• Lead all phases of the project lifecycle from initiation to close out.
• Direct the project team, mentor members, and maintain client relationships.
• Ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget.
• Support reporting of KPIs for schedule, budget, and dashboards.
• Identify and control construction risk and change management.
