United Utility Services seeks a Senior Engineer to provide technical leadership, quality oversight, and complex problem solving across multiple projects. You will review calculations, drawings, and specifications, and mentor engineering staff to meet client requirements and standards.

Office-based with occasional field visits; travel limited. The role emphasizes QA/QC, engineering best practices, and collaboration with project managers, clients, and contractors to deliver safe, compliant power

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering from an accredited institution.
• 8-10 years of engineering experience.
• Active Professional Engineer (PE) license for the state of Texas.
• Demonstrated expertise in leadership, engineering quality, and complex problem solving.
• Strong understanding of engineering principles, applicable codes, client standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Excellent leadership, communication, mentoring, and organizational skills.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel occasionally as required.

Responsabilités

• Serve as technical lead and Quality Control reviewer for engineering deliverables.
• Review engineering calculations, drawings, specifications, reports, and technical documentation for accuracy and completeness.
• Solve complex engineering challenges while providing technical guidance to project teams.
• Establish and promote engineering best practices, standards, and quality expectations.
• Mentor engineers, designers, and technical staff to support professional development.
• Coordinate technical activities with project managers, clients, contractors, and other stakeholders.
• Support construction, commissioning, field investigations, and technical issue resolution as required.
• Participate in proposal development, project planning, and technical risk assessments.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, lessons learned, and engineering standard development.
• Represent United Utility as a trusted technical resource with clients and project teams.
