United Utility Services, headquartered in The Woodlands, TX, seeks a Senior Engineer to lead engineering quality and technical oversight across multiple projects. You’ll mentor staff, set technical expectations, and ensure deliverables meet client standards and regulatory obligations.

The role emphasizes leadership, complex problem solving, and collaboration with project teams, clients, and contractors. Occasional travel and field support may be required as part of a dynamic utility delivery

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering is required.
• Active Texas PE license required.
• 8–10 years of engineering experience.
• Strong leadership, communication, and mentoring skills.
• Ability to review calculations, drawings, and technical docs.

Responsibilities

• Serve as technical lead and QC reviewer for engineering deliverables.
• Review engineering calculations, drawings, specs, reports for accuracy.
• Solve complex engineering challenges and guide project teams.
• Establish engineering standards and quality expectations.
• Mentor engineers, designers, and staff; support project planning and risk assessments.
• Coordinate with PMs, clients, contractors, and stakeholders.
• Support field activities, investigations, and technical issue resolution.
• Contribute to proposals and continuous improvement of standards.
