Job summary

FlatironDragados is seeking an experienced Superintendent in Washington, DC. Your role will involve planning and coordinating construction projects, ensuring compliance with specifications, and leading teams. The position requires extensive civil construction experience and strong communication skills.

You will also supervise work crews, manage safety protocols, and forecast potential project issues. Candidates with over 8 years in heavy civil construction and a valid Driver’s License are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of heavy civil construction experience required.
• 5+ years construction management experience required.
• Valid Driver’s License is necessary.
• Advanced knowledge of construction site equipment operation.
• Ability to read and interpret contract specific plans.

Responsibilities

• Plan work methods, materials, equipment needs, and work schedule.
• Review project specifications for job setup activities.
• Coordinate with teams to ensure appropriate equipment.
• Forecast work schedule to identify production issues.
• Supervise sub-contractor production regarding project work.
