Job summary

FlatironDragados is seeking a Senior Superintendent to lead large-scale civil construction projects in Virginia. You will oversee scheduling, coordination, and supervision of production and workforce to ensure safe, on-time delivery within budget.

Responsibilities include reviewing project specs, coordinating with field teams and vendors, and mentoring internal talent while enforcing safety programs on multi-site operations. Competitive salary and benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• STS certification preferred.
• 10+ years heavy civil construction experience.
• 7+ years construction management experience.

Responsibilities

• Plan work methods, materials, equipment needs and work schedule for assigned project work.
• Coordinate with field crews, engineers and vendors to ensure equipment and materials meet budget and schedule.
• Forecast schedules and provide recommendations to mitigate issues.
• Identify risks and contribute to safe, compliant construction methods and documentation.
• Supervise subcontractor production and workforce; adjust plans as needed.
