Job summary

Wipro Limited seeks a seasoned operations leader to build and scale world-class User Studies and Data Collection Operations supporting AI, machine learning, computer vision, sensor technologies, wearables, robotics and next-generation hardware products.

The leader will own the operating model across participant operations, study execution, field delivery, hardware readiness, vendor governance, quality assurance and executive program management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Psychology, Human Factors, Operations, Research or a related discipline.
• 8+ years of experience leading large-scale operations, user studies, research operations or data collection programs.
• 5+ years managing managers or leading multidisciplinary leadership teams.
• Demonstrated experience running human-subject research or participant-based data collection programs.
• Proven leadership of global operations, vendors or managed-services ecosystems.
• Strong command of program management, capacity planning, forecasting, budgeting and delivery governance.
• Experience collaborating with engineering, AI/ML, computer vision, hardware or sensor-development organizations.
• Executive-level communication, influence and stakeholder management capabilities.
• Track record of scaling operations while protecting quality, confidentiality, compliance and participant experience.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute the vision, strategy and operating model for user studies and multimodal data collection programs.
• Create scalable frameworks that balance speed, quality, participant experience, privacy, compliance and cost.
• Develop long-term workforce, partner and vendor strategies aligned to program growth.
• Lead end-to-end delivery across participant recruitment, scheduling, logistics, study execution, field operations and data handoff.
• Own capacity planning, forecasting, resource allocation, budgets, delivery readiness and risk management.
• Establish governance, executive reviews, KPI reporting and corrective-action mechanisms.
• Oversee participant recruitment, onboarding, consent, scheduling and engagement.
• Enable quantitative and qualitative studies while ensuring a consistent, respectful participant experience.
• Ensure study spaces, documentation, devices and operating procedures are ready for execution.
• Partner with Product, Engineering, AI/ML, Computer Vision, Sensor Engineering, Research and Data Science teams.
• Translate research and product objectives into executable operational plans and measurable delivery outcomes.
• Influence senior stakeholders, resolve ambiguity and align multiple organizations around priorities.
• Lead internal teams and external providers across global or distributed operations.
• Define SLAs, quality controls, process standards, audits, training and performance governance.
• Protect data integrity, confidentiality, security and compliance throughout the collection lifecycle.
