Job summary

Dow Inc. seeks an experienced Natural Gas Trader to join the Feedstocks and Commodities team in Houston, TX.

You will manage a mid-nine-figure commodities portfolio focused on US natural gas, executing trading and hedging strategies, managing risk, and delivering strong performance in dynamic markets. You will develop market views with the research team and execute trades using futures, swaps, options and other derivatives, while ensuring regulatory and governance compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field (e.g. Finance, Economics, Engineering, Mathematics).
• Willing and able to travel for role.
• U.S. work authorization required; no visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute trading and hedging strategies in gas markets.
• Generate trading profit within approved risk parameters.
• Execute transactions using futures, swaps, options and other derivatives.
• Identify arbitrage opportunities across regions, products and time structures.
• Build and maintain relationships with traders, producers, consumers and brokers.
• Support research on market views, pricing forecasts and trading recommendations for senior management.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory, risk and governance requirements.
