Job summary

Dow is seeking an experienced Natural Gas Trader to manage a nine-figure commodities portfolio focused on US natural gas within the Feedstocks and Commodities organization in Houston, TX. You will identify market opportunities, execute trading and hedging strategies, and strive for consistent, risk-adjusted performance in dynamic global markets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field or relevant military experience at or above U.S. E5/Canadian ranking.
• At least 7 years of relevant working experience.
• Ability to travel as required for this role.
• Willingness to support sites during off hours during weather or emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute trading and hedging strategies in gas-related markets.
• Generate consistent trading profit and manage risk within approved parameters.
• Execute transactions using futures, swaps, options, and other derivatives.
• Identify arbitrage opportunities and market dislocations across regions and time structures.
• Build and maintain relationships with traders, producers, consumers, refiners, brokers, exchanges, banks, and other market participants.
• Support research on market views, pricing forecasts, and trading recommendations for senior management.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory, risk, and governance requirements.
