Job summary

Veolia is seeking a Senior Process Engineer to lead UPW system design for the North American market. You will guide water-chemistry analysis, unit-process selection, and performance optimization across multi-step flowsheets.

You will apply advanced treatment technologies for ultrapure water, coordinate cross-functional bids, and mentor others while traveling regionally to support projects and commissioning.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or advanced degree in Engineering (Environmental, Chemical, Mechanical) or related field.
• 10+ years of UPW treatment design experience in microelectronics.
• Demonstrated experience integrating multiple unit operations into cohesive systems.
• Willingness to travel up to 10% in North America.

Responsibilities

• Characterize water chemistry and develop design bases for UPW systems.
• Select and size unit processes, ensuring design guarantees.
• Apply advanced treatment tech (membranes, ion exchange, UV, gas-transfer) for microelectronics.
• Own system integration across units and collaborate with system integrators.
• Evaluate operations under design and upset conditions; participate in HAZOPs.
