Job summary

Veolia is seeking a Senior Process Engineer to lead ultrapure water (UPW) system design for the microelectronics market in North America. You’ll guide process engineering teams through design, commissioning, and operation of complete UPW solutions, balancing capital costs, operating expenses, and technical risk.

The role requires 10+ years in UPW design, PE licensure in the US or Canada (or willingness to obtain), and strong collaboration across bidding and project execution teams.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of UPW treatment design experience.
• Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in US/Canada or willing to obtain licensure.
• Ability to integrate multiple unit operations into cohesive treatment systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead UPW process design for microelectronics applications.
• Design basis development, equipment sizing, and process guarantees.
• Apply advanced treatment technologies (membranes, ion exchange, UV, gas-transfer) to meet UPW specs.
• Own system integration and collaborate with system integrator on complex flowsheets.
• Participate in design reviews, piloting, benchmarking, and continuous improvement.
