Job summary

Veolia is seeking a Senior Process Engineer for Microelectronics UPW. You will lead ultrapure water process design, guiding cross-functional teams through bidding, design, commissioning, and operation of complete UPW systems for the North American market.

The role requires 10+ years of UPW experience, a PE license or eligibility, and strong communication for customer engagements. Travel up to 10% is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or advanced degree in Engineering or related technical field.
• 10+ years of UPW treatment design experience or a strong design/field mix.
• Demonstrated UPW system design/operation for microelectronics.
• Ability to integrate multiple unit operations into cohesive, optimized systems.
• Willingness to travel up to 10% within North America.

Responsibilities

• Water chemistry characterization and design basis development, including reclaim-to-UPW.
• Unit process selection, design, equipment sizing, and process guarantees.
• Apply advanced treatment technologies including membranes, ion exchange, UV, and gas-transfer processes.
• Own system integration across multiple unit operations; coordinate with system integrator when needed.
• Evaluate operation under design and upset conditions; participate in HAZOPs.
• Pilot studies, treatability benchmarking, and continuous improvement activities.
