Job summary

Veolia is seeking Senior Process Engineers to lead UPW treatment design for microelectronics, driving system integration and optimization across multiple unit operations. You will work on water chemistry, design basis development, and select and size treatment technologies to meet stringent product requirements.

The role emphasizes collaboration with customers, bid teams, and field operations, with travel up to 10%. A PE licensure in the US/Canada is preferred or willingness to obtain licensure.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of UPW treatment design experience
• Bachelor's or advanced degree in Engineering with UPW system experience
• Experience with UPW processes and microelectronics systems
• Ability to integrate multiple unit operations into cohesive systems
• Willingness to travel up to 10% within North America
• Licensed as a PE in US/Canada or willingness to obtain licensure

Responsibilities

• Lead the process design of UPW treatment solutions for the microelectronics industry
• Characterize water chemistry and development of design basis for reclaim-to-UPW
• Select units, size equipment, and guarantee process performance
• Apply advanced treatment tech (membranes, ion exchange, UV, gas-transfer membranes)
• Own system integration across unit operations or collaborate with system integrator
• Evaluate operation under design and upset conditions; participate in HAZOPs
• Engage in piloting and benchmarking treatability studies for design and commissioning
