Job summary

Veolia Water Technologies in North America seeks a senior-level Process Engineer to lead the design, sale support, execution, commissioning, and operation of ultrapure water (UPW) systems for the microelectronics industry.

You will apply deep technical knowledge, manage unit operations, and participate in piloting and benchmarking studies while coordinating with system integrators to optimize flows and costs. Travel up to 10% within North America is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Engineering (Environmental, Chemical, Mechanical or related) with UPW system experience.
• 10+ years in UPW treatment design with field operations preferred.
• Proven experience in UPW process design and microelectronics system design/operation.
• Ability to integrate multiple unit operations into cohesive, optimized treatment systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead UPW process design for ultrapure water systems for microelectronics.
• Size equipment, select unit processes and guarantee performance.
• Apply advanced treatment technologies to meet stringent UPW specs.
• Own system integration across unit operations; coordinate with system integrator as needed.
• Evaluate operation under design/upset conditions; participate in HAZOPs.
• Engage in piloting and benchmarking studies for design and commissioning.
