Job summary

Veolia North America is seeking a Senior Process Engineer to lead ultrapure water treatment design for the microelectronics sector. You will drive system integration, design basis development, and cross-functional collaboration to optimize capital and operating costs.

You will apply advanced UPW technologies, mentor teams, and participate in piloting and benchmarking studies, with travel up to 10% across North America. Proven PE licensure is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Environmental/Chemical/Mechanical) or related field.
• 10+ years in UPW treatment design and field ops experience.
• Proven experience with UPW treatment processes and microelectronics system design/operation.
• Ability to integrate multiple unit operations into cohesive, optimized systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead the process design of ultrapure water treatment solutions for the microelectronics industry.
• Characterize water chemistry and design basis, including reclaim-to-UPW applications.
• Select unit processes, size equipment, and guarantee performance.
• Own system integration across units or collaborate with a system integrator on complex flowsheets.
• Evaluate operation under design and upset conditions; participate in HAZOPs and piloting studies.
• Travel up to 10% within North America.
