Job summary

Veolia is seeking a senior-level Process Engineer to lead ultrapure water (UPW) treatment design for the microelectronics market in North America. You will guide customers through sale, execution, commissioning, and operation of complete UPW systems.

This role requires deep technical knowledge, strong leadership, and collaboration with cross-functional teams. Travel up to 10% within North America is expected; PE licensure or willingness to obtain is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or advanced degree in an Engineering field (Environmental, Chemical, or Mechanical preferred).
• 10+ years of UPW design experience, with microelectronics exposure considered.
• Proven experience integrating multiple unit operations into cohesive treatment systems.
• PE licensure in the US/Canada or willingness to obtain licensure.

Responsibilities

• Lead UPW process design for microelectronics applications.
• Select unit processes, size equipment, and guarantee performance.
• Apply advanced treatment technologies to meet stringent UPW requirements.
• Own system integration across unit operations and collaborate with system integrators.
• Evaluate operation under design and upset conditions; participate in HAZOPs.
• Pilot and benchmark treatability studies during design, commissioning, and optimization.
