Job summary

Veolia North America is seeking a Senior-level Process Engineer to lead ultrapure water (UPW) treatment projects for the microelectronics sector. You will design, optimize, and integrate multi‑unit UPW systems, balancing capital and operating costs while meeting stringent industry requirements.

You will collaborate with customers, operate across bids and project execution teams, and travel up to 10% within North America to ensure successful delivery and ongoing improvements in UPW solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or advanced degree in Engineering (Environmental, Chemical, Mechanical) or related field.
• 10+ years of UPW treatment design experience.
• Experience with UPW system design/operation for microelectronics.
• Proven ability to integrate multiple unit operations into cohesive, optimized treatment systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead UPW process design for microelectronics customers.
• Characterize water chemistry and develop design basis for UPW projects.
• Select unit processes, size equipment, and ensure process guarantees.
• Apply advanced treatment tech (ultrafiltration, nanofiltration, RO, ion exchange, UV) to meet UPW specs.
• Own system integration across unit operations and collaborate with system integrators.
