Job summary

M.C. Dean, Inc. is seeking a skilled Electrical/Electronics Technician to inspect, maintain, and certify high‑reliability UPS systems and power electronics at mission critical facilities.

The role requires a strong background in electrical engineering, schematic interpretation, and hands‑on problem solving in a field service context. Travel is frequent, with 24/7 on-call requirements and the ability to work with diverse customers.

Qualifications

• AA/BS degree in Electrical and/or Electronics from an accredited college or university, or equivalent field or military training.
• Minimum of seven + years OEM experience in power electronic system maintenance and repair.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting complex technical instructions, plans, blueprints, and schematics.

Responsibilities

• Daily travel with independence and on-call availability as required.
• Inspect and certify power electronics and their components per standards.
• Review system drawings for accuracy; determine maintenance requirements and compliance.
• Provide technical assistance and training on power electronic devices to owners and engineers.
