Job summary

M.C. Dean, Inc. is seeking a skilled technician to maintain and repair critical power UPS and battery systems at mission-critical facilities. You will perform preventive maintenance, respond to emergency service calls, and support on-site teams with technical expertise.

Responsibilities include on-site inspections, coordinating subcontractors, and producing accurate service reports. The role requires extensive travel and adherence to project quality standards.

Qualifications

• AA/BS degree in Electrical and/or Electronics from an accredited college or university, or equivalent field or military training.
• Minimum of 7+ years OEM experience with power electronic system maintenance and repair.
• Experience with UPS systems, batteries, test equipment, and associated electrical apparatuses.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and certify power electronics and their key components.
• Perform preventive maintenance and emergency service on UPS and battery systems.
• Coordinate with on-site subcontractors and maintain safety standards.
• Prepare Field Service Reports, Time Sheets, and Expense Reports timely.
• Provide technical assistance and training to site personnel.
• Maintain technical documentation and quality control procedures.
• Travel 7x24x365 as required; overnight travel may be needed.
• Use test equipment to diagnose and repair faults and ensure reliability.
