Job summary

M.C. Dean in Tysons, VA, seeks a skilled Field Service Technician for the Critical Power Group to inspect, maintain, and repair UPS systems and power electronics at major facilities.

You will travel daily and respond to emergencies, ensuring safety and reliability of critical infrastructure. Ideal candidates have 7+ years OEM experience in power electronics and a BS/EE or equivalent, plus hands-on expertise with test equipment and documentation.

Qualifications

• 7+ years OEM experience in power electronic system maintenance and repair.
• Experience with UPS systems, batteries, test equipment, and related electrical apparatus.
• AA/BS degree in Electrical and/or Electronics or equivalent training.

Responsibilities

• Travel daily with independent work structure.
• Provide on-site inspection and certification of power electronics.
• Maintain and repair UPS and battery systems and coordinate subcontractors.
• Prepare field reports and maintain technical documentation.
