Job summary

M.C. Dean, Inc. is seeking a skilled Electrical/Power Systems Technician to maintain UPS systems, batteries, and critical power infrastructure across high-profile facilities.

The role involves on-site service, preventive maintenance, and rapid response to emergencies, with cross-functional collaboration and documentation of field activities. Candidates should have a 7+ year OEM background in power electronics, an AA/BS in Electrical/Electronics, and strong knowledge of NEC and safety practices.

Qualifications

• AA/BS degree in Electrical and/or Electronics from an accredited college or university, or equivalent field or military training.
• 7+ years OEM experience in power electronic system maintenance and repair.
• Experience with UPS systems, batteries, test equipment, and associated electrical apparatuses.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and maintain UPS systems, batteries, and related power infrastructure.
• Perform preventive maintenance and testing as scheduled.
• Respond to emergency service calls at government, institutional, and commercial sites.
• Coordinate with subcontractors and ensure safety and quality standards.
• Prepare and submit Field Service Reports, Time Sheets, and Expense Reports on time.
