Job summary

M.C. Dean is seeking a skilled electrical/electronics professional to join our Critical Power Group in field service operations. The role focuses on maintaining UPS systems, batteries, and related infrastructure across government, institutional, and commercial sites.

Responsibilities include preventive maintenance, emergency service, and on-site engineering support for customers, with travel and 24/7 on-call requirements. Requires 5+ years in UPS systems and related equipment.

Qualifications

• AA/BS degree in Electrical and/or Electronics from an accredited college or university.
• Proficiency reading and interpreting schematic diagrams.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Future training and certification requirements: Various Manufacturer Maintenance Courses.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office products.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, service, and troubleshoot UPS systems, batteries, and other critical infrastructure equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance and equipment testing; respond to emergency service calls.
• Coordinate and manage on-site subcontractors as necessary.
• Complete Field Service Reports, Time Sheets, and Expense Reports timely and accurately.
• Provide technical support to customers upon request.
