Job summary

CD PROJEKT RED in the United States is seeking a Senior Rendering Engineer to join the team behind Cyberpunk 2. You will develop rendering solutions and optimizations using Unreal Engine 5 to help designers and artists realize the game's vision.

Work closely with engineers and art teams to push runtime fidelity, optimize CPU/GPU performance, and support a large open-world experience. The role offers hybrid/in-office or fully remote work along with a competitive benefits package.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of industry experience.
• AAA console titles experience, Unreal Engine.
• Fluent in C++ with graphics focus.
• UE5 or in-house engine knowledge.
• Modern rendering techniques and CPU/GPU architecture.
• Multithreaded programming experience.
• Experience with low-level graphics APIs (DirectX12, Vulkan, etc.).
• Graphics debugging tools like RenderDoc.
• Ability to profile and optimize at low level.
• Strong communication and ownership.
• Proactive team support.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, debug, and enhance existing graphics systems for improved performance and memory utilization.
• Work closely with other engineers and content teams to develop rendering solutions for a large-scale, open-world environment.
• Help art teams bring characters and a cyberpunk world to life with advanced rendering.
• Optimize runtime performance and memory usage across CPU and GPU.
