Job summary

Align Credit Union in New Hampshire seeks a Universal Banker III to lead branch operational standards, coach the team on excellence, and engage members with needs-based conversations to tailor financial solutions.

The role requires expertise in cash handling, audits, lending processes, and ensuring security and compliance. Base pay ranges from $24.00 to $28.00 per hour, with variation by experience and certifications.

Responsibilities

• Oversees branch operations, including cash handling, control of negotiable items, preventing fraud, managing controllable expenses, promoting integrity, member privacy and employee safety and performance of all operational duties.
• Consistently executes behaviors aligned with Align CU's values and member service standards to deliver exceptional member experiences.
• Proactively connects with members to deepen relationships through needs-based conversations.
• Demonstrates knowledge of credit union products and services; recommends solutions and refers to specialists when needed.
• Manages branch operations such as audits, cash settlements, ATMs, vaults, and monthly reporting.
• Coaches and mentors branch staff, provides ongoing training and motivation to the team.
• Completes member requests including accounts, loans, mortgages, servicing, debit cards, and routine transactions.
• Supervises teller balancing, ensures cash is accounted for, and corrects errors.
• Orders, verifies, and distributes cash shipments.
• Ensures security equipment is in working order and branch is properly secured.
• Allows supervisor overrides for restricted transactions within limits and takes responsibility for transactions.
• Maintains knowledge through self-education and in-house training.
• Ensures compliance with OFAC, BSA, and other regulations; achieves service and sales goals.
• Becomes and maintains Notary Public status.
• Acts as supervisor/manager on duty, supporting Branch Manager with coaching and training.
