Job summary

Fox Corporation on the East Coast is seeking a Temp Senior Union Payroll Associate to manage multi-state, multi-company weekly and bi-weekly payrolls for union and non-union freelance staff. The role requires processing according to collective bargaining agreements and applicable laws.

You will coordinate with payroll teams to meet deadlines, champion process improvements, and ensure accurate wage garnishments, taxes, and paid time off. Strong Excel and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of hands-on union payroll processing.
• Experience interpreting withholding orders for levies and garnishments.
• Knowledge of automated time and attendance systems.
• Experience leading standardization and process improvements.
• Strong knowledge of FLSA and wage-hour regulations.

Responsibilities

• Process multi-state, multi-company weekly and bi-weekly payrolls for union and non-union freelance employees in compliance with agreements and laws.
• Process on-demand, retroactive, and special payments; manage tax adjustments and overpayments per policy.
• Interpret and set up withholding orders within the payroll system.
• Understand union pay rules and timekeeping; address employee questions.
• Understand taxation of all employee payments including union benefits; respond to inquiries.
• Assist employees and management with payroll questions; communicate clearly.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, internal controls, and SOX controls.
• Serve as payroll expert; resolve customer issues and document root causes.
• Collaborate with Payroll Shared Services and other teams to meet deadlines.
