FOX is seeking a Senior Payroll Associate in New York to manage multi-state, multi-company payrolls for non-union employees on weekly and bi-weekly cycles. Qualifications

• 4+ years of hands-on payroll processing experience.
• Experience interpreting withholding orders for levies, garnishments, child support.
• Knowledge of California wage laws; federal/state/local wage-hour and tax regs.

Responsibilities

• Process multi-state, multi-company bi-weekly and weekly payrolls for non-union salary, hourly, and freelance employees.
• Perform pre-payroll audits of earnings, deductions, benefits, garnishments, and tax setups.
• Process on-demand payments, retroactive payments, and other special payroll items per policies and regulations.
• Interpret withholding orders and respond to vendor inquiries within deadlines.
• Serve as payroll expert for tax questions and resolve customer issues; perform root-cause analyses.
