In this hybrid role, you will develop audit plans, analyze results, and present findings to senior leadership while driving corrective actions and continuous improvement across underwriting operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business/insurance or related field required.
• 7–10 years in commercial underwriting, underwriting compliance, quality assurance, or auditing.
• 3+ years of leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
• Experience conducting underwriting file reviews and compliance assessments.
• Experience presenting results to senior leadership and managing corrective actions.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the underwriting audit program and related activities.
• Develop annual audit plans, priorities, and methodologies.
• Ensure audits meet departmental standards and procedures.
• Monitor productivity, completion rates, and reporting timelines.
• Analyze audit results to identify trends and improvements.
• Present findings to underwriting and executive leadership and track corrective actions.
• Lead projects to improve underwriting quality and consistency.
• Mentor audit staff and promote best practices throughout the organization.
