Philadelphia Insurance Companies is seeking an Underwriting Audit Supervisor to oversee underwriting audit programs, drive performance insights, and ensure compliance with guidelines and regulations. The role collaborates with Compliance, Underwriting, Training, Legal, and Executive Leadership in a hybrid work model with remote consideration.

The position requires solid leadership, extensive underwriting/audit experience, and the ability to develop corrective actions and process improvements

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Insurance, Risk Management, Finance, Accounting, or related field required.
• 7-10 years of commercial underwriting, underwriting compliance, quality assurance, auditing, or related insurance experience.
• 3 years of leadership, supervisory, or management experience preferred.
• Experience conducting underwriting file reviews and compliance assessments.
• Experience presenting results to senior leadership and managing corrective action initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the underwriting audit program and related activities.
• Develop annual audit plans, priorities, and methodologies.
• Ensure audits comply with standards and procedures; manage workload and quality control.
• Analyze audit results to identify trends and drive improvements; create executive dashboards.
• Lead corrective action initiatives and partner with underwriting to implement changes.
• Identify training opportunities and mentor audit staff; promote knowledge sharing.
