Job summary

Philadelphia Insurance Companies is expanding its Compliance team with nationwide consideration for an Underwriting Audit Supervisor. The role leads the underwriting audit program, ensuring adherence to guidelines and regulatory requirements, and partners with leadership to drive improvements across underwriting, training, legal and compliance.

The position oversees audit staff, develops plans, and presents findings to executive management, while guiding corrective actions and process

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, insurance, risk management, finance, or accounting.
• 7–10 years in commercial underwriting, compliance, QA, or auditing.
• 3+ years of leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
• Experience presenting results to senior leadership and managing corrective actions.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the underwriting audit program and develop annual audit plans.
• Ensure audits meet standards and are properly administered.
• Analyze audit results and develop executive dashboards and metrics.
• Lead corrective action planning and verify remediation.
• Identify training opportunities and mentor audit staff.
• Establish goals, performance standards, and a collaborative work environment.
