Job summary

Philadelphia Insurance Companies is expanding its Compliance team by considering candidates nationwide for an Underwriting Audit Supervisor. The role oversees the audit program, evaluates adherence to underwriting guidelines and regulatory standards, and partners with Compliance, Underwriting, Legal, Training, and Executive Leadership to drive improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, insurance, risk management, finance, accounting, or related field is required.
• Minimum 7–10 years of underwriting, underwriting compliance, quality assurance, auditing, or related insurance experience.
• 3+ years of leadership, supervisory, or management experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee underwriting audit program and staff; ensure adherence to guidelines and regulatory requirements.
• Develop annual audit plans, priorities, and methodologies; monitor productivity and timelines.
• Analyze audit results to identify trends and provide executive-level reports and recommendations.
• Lead corrective actions, document improvements, and drive quality initiatives.
• Mentor audit staff and collaborate with Training, Compliance, Underwriting, Legal, and Leadership.
