Qualifications

• 1–2 years of applicable medical insurance experience: brokers, carriers, TPAs, underwriting, or policy marketing.

Responsibilities

• Provide guidance and consultation to Sales and Client Management on pricing and stop loss strategies.
• Prepares and issues quotations and other financial deliverables for prospective and existing business while meeting departmental TAT goals.
• Prepares financial projections on prospects using financial models in Excel and Salesforce.
• Marketing and placement of stop loss policies, negotiating terms based on claims data and cost avoidance efforts.
• Collaborates with leadership to understand impacts for custom requests.
• Manages and interprets operational data and applies to fee development and financial analysis.
• Presents to internal/external customers and partners.
• Demonstrates understanding of Meritain products/services and business processes.
• SupportsSales in product mix decisions to reduce total cost of care for sponsors.
• Explains rates/fees and communicates underwriting and stop loss policies to sales and client management.
