AXA XL, the P&C and specialty risk division of AXA, is seeking a Senior Underwriter for the West Middle Market to grow our presence in the West Territory. You will underwrite new and renewal business, collaborating with brokers and clients to deliver tailored underwriting solutions and drive profitable growth.

Ideal candidates bring strong knowledge of the US insurance industry and P&C products, plus Middle Market underwriting experience and client-focused communication.

Formación

• Outstanding knowledge of the US insurance industry with P&C product awareness.
• Middle Market insurance experience (underwriting, claims, or related).
• Proven ability to differentiate AXA XL in the industry through offerings and approach.
• Ability to build and maintain insured and broker contacts.
• Excellent written and oral communication with a strong customer-service focus.
• Collaborative team player offering creative solutions.

Responsabilidades

• Underwrite new and renewal business and contribute to achieving profitable premiums.
• Develop and execute your annual desk-level underwriting plan.
• Adhere to underwriting guidelines and authority thresholds.
• Maintain high-quality service standards and audit compliance.
• Collaborate with underwriting team and management; travel for broker/client meetings.
• Develop and service broker relationships within the distribution model.
• Represent AXA XL at internal/external events and sponsor activities.
• Cross-sell across Middle Market to maximize deployment of AXA XL’s capital.
