AXA XL, the P&C and specialty risk division of AXA, is seeking an experienced Middle Market Underwriter in the Central Zone of the US. In this role you will underwrite both new and renewal business and build broker and client relationships to drive growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred; CPCU or ARM a plus.
• Strong knowledge of US P&C insurance products.
• Experience with middle market underwriting.

Responsibilities

• Underwrite new and renewal business for the assigned territory.
• Execute your annual desk-level underwriting plan.
• Adhere to guidelines, authorities and referral requirements.
• Ensure high quality service and audit compliance.
• Collaborate in a team environment.
• Cross-sell across Middle Market to deploy AXA XL capital.
• Travel within territory for meetings.
• Develop and service broker relationships within the distribution model.
• Represent AXA XL at internal/external events.
