Job summary

Sompo Holdings, Inc. seeks a Senior Underwriter for its Commercial Management Liability (D&O) team in San Francisco. You will underwrite and grow a profitable portfolio, leveraging broker relationships and market presence to win and retain large accounts.

The role requires 3+ years in underwriting with management liability products, strong analytics, and collaboration with actuarial and claims teams. On-site work in San Francisco is expected.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of underwriting experience in management liability.
• Experience with D&O, Fiduciary, Crime and EPL products.
• Proven ability to develop broker relationships and pipeline.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage a profitable Management Liability portfolio for the San Francisco/Pacific Northwest region.
• Underwrite in accordance with guidelines and granted authority.
• Collaborate with actuarial and claims on pricing and risk selection.
• Create marketing materials and participate in industry events.
