Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
• Minimum of 3 years of underwriting experience in commercial property and casualty.
• Proven ability to underwrite new and renewal business with growth and profitability.

Responsibilities

• Underwrite accounts per authority for new and renewal business with minimal direction.
• Profitably underwrite the assigned book of business.
• Utilize underwriting tools to determine risk characteristics and pricing.
• Contribute to refinement of underwriting processes and workflows.
• Develop deep expertise in targeted business segments.
• Collaborate with sales, client services, and actuarial teams.
