Job summary

HDI Global Insurance Company is seeking a seasoned PropertyExecutive Underwriter to manage large and complex property risks across diverse sectors. This role focuses on profitability, risk assessment, and strategic growth of the portfolio.

You will build and sustain broker and client relationships, negotiate terms, and collaborate with Risk Engineering, Claims, and Reinsurance to tailor comprehensive solutions.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of commercial property underwriting experience, including large or multinational programs.
• Demonstrated ability to build and maintain broker and client relationships.
• Strong knowledge of property forms, pricing methodologies, and risk assessment.
• Experience mentoring junior team members and influencing senior stakeholders.
• Willingness to travel for client, broker, and industry engagements.

Responsibilities

• Underwrite and manage a book of large, complex property accounts, including shared and layered placements and multinational programs.
• Develop and maintain strategic relationships with key brokers, clients, and industry partners to drive profitable growth.
• Assess and price risks by analyzing complex property exposures, including catastrophe modeling and loss history.
• Collaborate with Risk Engineering, Claims, and Reinsurance to tailor client solutions.
• Lead negotiations on terms, endorsements, and manuscript wording to ensure coverage and risk mitigation.
• Stay current on market trends, competition, and emerging risks to inform pricing and underwriting guidelines.
• Represent HDI at industry events and client meetings to promote capabilities and expand market presence.
