Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 3 years in commercial property and casualty underwriting.
• Strong data analysis to guide underwriting decisions.

Responsibilities

• Underwrite accounts per letter of authority - new and renewal, with minimal direction.
• Profitably underwrite its assigned book of business.
• Utilize underwriting tools to determine risk characteristics, classifications, pricing.
• Refine underwriting processes and workflows.
• Gain deep expertise in targeted business segments.
• Collaborate with sales, client services, and actuarial teams.
